 Executive Director
Andrew Mangan is co-founder and executive director of the United States Business Council for Sustainable Development (US BCSD), a non-profit association of businesses launched in 2002 whose purpose is to create and deliver value driven sustainable development projects in the United States. Projects are member-led and designed to create value through economic returns and environmental and social benefits.
Mr. Mangan holds a masters degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where he attended the Columbia School of International and Public Affairs as an International Fellow. He currently serves on the board of the Center for Clean Air Policy, is a member of the Education Committee for the International Society of Industrial Ecology, and a member of the Advisory Committee for the Environmental Science Institute at the University of Texas at Austin.

Director of Operations
Dennis is the Director of Operations for the United States Business Council for Sustainable Development (US BCSD) with responsibilities for management of the afforestation project for the lower Mississippi Alluvial Valley and assisting with the operations of the U.S. Business Council. Prior to working for the US BCSD, Dennis worked for the Dow Chemical Company for 35 years where he worked in various areas of R&D, environmental operations and environmental technology. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt with a M.S and B.S. degree in Biology from West Texas State University.
|  Director of Membership Development
Amy has been with the US BCSD since August 2005, and recently transitioned her focus to membership development. She manages member relations and communication and identifies companies with a strong sustainable development focus for potential membership. She also coordinates US BCSD bi-annual meetings and other events. Amy enjoys contributing to sustainable development, both at her job and in her everyday life; and is currently pursuing a degree in Urban Studies. She hopes to focus on affordable, sustainable housing solutions in urban areas and sustainable development education for the public. Amy can’t think of a better place to live than in Austin, where she loves experiencing culture, art, and community.
| Office Coordinator
Emily is the office coordinator for the US BCSD and is responsible for communications (website, newsletter, email, phone) and meeting planning. She attended the University of Texas at Austin and received a B.A. Degree in Geography and the Environment. In the Fall 2007, she started the UT Master’s Program in Community and Regional Planning and plans to focus on environmental and natural resource planning.
